In this pivotal role, you'll establish production standards, mentor producers and directors, and ensure seamless coordination across all aspects of our broadcasts. Remote opportunity: this position is open to candidates in OH, MT, FL, GA, CO, MI, NV, TN.
What you’ll do- Foster a collaborative culture that promotes professional growth and operational excellence.
- Establish, document, and enforce production best practices and workflows for live sports broadcasting.
- Provide strategic oversight of on‑air graphic presentation and production workflows.
- Serve as backup producer/director when operational needs require.
- Coordinate crew assignments and resource planning across production, technical, and operations teams.
- Partner directly with team representatives to integrate franchise feedback and guidelines into broadcasts.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain game production budgets while monitoring spend and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop game producers and directors through regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS degree in business management or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Generally, 10+ years of live television experience with a significant focus on sports production.
- Deep understanding of sports production workflows and live‑broadcast operations.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Proven leadership abilities with clear, effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel to events and work non‑traditional hours, including nights and weekends.
- Previous supervisory experience leading producers and directors preferred.
- Experience with broadcast graphics and production systems preferred.
- Background in managing budgets and leading cross‑functional production teams preferred.
