Job Summary

Are you ready to join a dynamic team at the forefront of the Food Service industry? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with strong written communication and problem‑solving skills to manage end‑to‑end order processing and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key Role Highlights
  • Proactive Identification of Delays:
    Continuously monitor order processing stages to foresee potential delays or bottlenecks, utilizing historical data and real‑time analytics to anticipate issues before they arise.
  • Efficient Mitigation Strategies:
    Implement rapid and effective solutions to mitigate delays, such as reallocating resources, expediting processes, or communicating with relevant stakeholders to expedite resolution.
  • Proactive Communication:
    Reach out to stakeholders with transparent and timely updates on delays, providing accurate lead times, setting clear expectations, and offering alternative solutions.
  • Empathetic Engagement:
    Approach stakeholder communication with empathy and understanding, acknowledging concerns and offering support.
  • Rapid Responsiveness:
    Respond promptly to all inquiries in the Logistics Support inbox, Outlook, and Teams Channels.
  • Thorough and Detailed Responses:
    Provide comprehensive and detailed responses to address all aspects of stakeholder inquiries, offering helpful suggestions and preemptively addressing potential follow‑up questions.
  • Organizational Excellence:
    Maintain a clean and organized inbox by promptly deleting old conversations, properly categorizing and tagging conversations as they arise.
  • Systematic Task Management:
    Establish a structured approach to task oversight, setting designated times/days for task completion and adhering to a consistent schedule.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Pay meticulous attention to detail when managing tasks, orders, or the Logistics Support inbox, ensuring that each task is fully and thoroughly addressed according to established protocols.
  • Comprehensive Issue Identification:
    Utilize a comprehensive approach to identify and address issues that extend beyond immediate concerns.
  • Holistic Problem‑Solving:
    Consider the broader implications and potential impact on customers, stakeholders, and the organization when devising solutions.

Some in‑person work required with the option to work from home throughout the week.

Remote Work Qualifications
  • Access to a reliable and secure high‑speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75 mbps download/10 mbps upload) are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring order fulfillment issues:
    Continuously monitor order status, identify potential delays, and take proactive measures to address them, liaising with inventory management or warehouse operations as needed.
  • Providing prompt, clear, and friendly communication to stakeholders:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order updates, inquiries, and concerns via email.
  • Collaborating with various departments:
    Coordinate with Logistics, Account Management, Account Support, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure seamless order processing.
  • Proactive problem‑solving:
    Identify root causes and implement solutions for product or service challenges, including technical troubleshooting and shipping discrepancies.
  • Monitoring inventory and order reports:
    Regularly review related reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data‑driven recommendations.
