Animal Health Customer Care Specialist - Hybrid after training

When will you work?- New‑hire education consists of one week of paid in‑classroom training at our Manhattan, KS location;
Monday – Friday 8:30‑5pm CST. You will learn about our state‑of‑the‑art laboratories and shipping and warehousing operations. - Upon successful completion of new‑hire training, initial work schedules will be Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8 PM CST until the next shift bid, where this may change. All Customer Care employees participate in regular shift bids where work schedules are awarded based on tenure and performance.
- The position operates on a hybrid schedule after the 2‑month training period working onsite in the office five days per week. Eligible employees may work from home two days per week on a rotating basis.
- Deliver customer service with kindness, empathy, understanding, and patience.
- Efficiently navigate patient and prescriber profiles across systems.
- Adapt quickly to each customer interaction— inbound, outbound, and written—via email, phone, SMS, and chat.
- Cohesively work with a team, as well as independently.
- Interact with team members across pharmacy and fulfillment facilities.
- Identify workflow efficiencies and new developments as the team grows by providing feedback.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while keeping our pet patients and customers front and center.
- A coachable, quick learner comfortable with change.
- A compassionate and caring individual who loves animals and those that care for them.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
- Self‑motivated and energized; excels in a fast‑paced environment.

- Comfortable performing basic calculations.
- A high school graduate or equivalent.
Bonus Points:
- Prior retail or customer service experience.
- Prior contact center experience.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy technician duties.
- Experience as a veterinary technician or similar role.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Some college education or a degree.
- Spanish speaking (bilingual).

Pay Range: $18 - $18 USD
