Overview
C+C is an award-winning integrated marketing agency focused on changing behaviors for good. We help clients motivate people to embrace social and environmental actions, such as choosing energy-efficient appliances, applying for college programs, increasing recycling, and making sustainable choices. We have offices in Seattle, WA;
Portland, OR; and Boston, MA, offering hybrid or full-office options. Local roles require two days onsite from the C+C offices; remote roles will be noted accordingly.
Brand Ambassadors, here referred to as Social Good Ambassadors (SGA), bring educational and interactive booths to life at festivals, fairs, and neighborhood events across the Puget Sound region (King, Island, Pierce, Kitsap, Snohomish, Thurston, and Whatcom counties). You will engage with community members, spark meaningful conversations, and educate the public on programs and actions that support stronger communities and a healthier planet.
This part-time, event-based role offers flexible scheduling. Events can occur any day, including weekends. You are not guaranteed a fixed number of hours; you will be notified of opportunities and can accept shifts that fit your schedule.
- Engage with community members and communicate campaign goals at events.
- Present information about programs and actions that support community and environmental outcomes.
- Assist with setting up event materials, tents, and outreach equipment as needed.
- Provide timely event recaps and maintain attention to detail in reports.
- Confidence to talk with new people while staying focused on campaign goals.
- Professionalism and open communication with the team.
- Attention to detail in selecting event materials and writing event recap reports.
- Proactive scheduling management using email or tools (e.g., Asana).
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think on your feet.
- Flexible schedule with availability for weekend events in the Puget Sound region.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and set up tents, tables, and outreach equipment.
- Bilingual/multilingual capabilities (Spanish) are highly desired.
- Willingness to work at least two events per month.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation; willingness to travel within up to ~60 miles from Seattle depending on location.
- A smartphone.
Paid at $24 per hour for event-to-event ambassadors. This is a non-exempt, part-time position. Ambassadors select days, times, and locations via an online/mobile scheduling database. Training and travel expenses (mileage) are covered.
