Customer Service Rep
Come join our amazing crew at the Wood Center Front Desk! We're looking for outgoing, reliable students to help us keep things running smoothly and make campus life awesome.
As a Front Desk Attendant, you'll be doing a little bit of everything. From giving out campus info and managing lost & found to helping students get their game on with pool, table tennis, bowling, and video games. You'll also sell tickets for exciting campus and community events, run the campus switchboard, and stock snacks, drinks, and other essentials for your fellow students.
The best part? You'll get to help out with the biggest events on campus, from concerts and game nights to tournaments!
We offer flexible shifts Monday–Sunday between 6:30 AM and Midnight.
To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate strong reading, writing, speaking, and customer service skills. Success also requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications include experience in an office environment and a background in customer service. The ideal candidate will consistently exhibit a professional demeanor, exercise sound judgment, and uphold honesty and trustworthiness in all responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks.
This is a part-time, student assistant position, starting rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.
