Customer Service Rep, Security Officer, Event Staff/ Venue Crew
Come join our amazing crew at the Wood Center Front Desk! We're looking for outgoing, reliable students to help us keep things running smoothly and make campus life awesome.
As a Front Desk Attendant, you'll be doing a little bit of everything: giving out campus info, managing lost & found, helping students with pool, table tennis, bowling, and video games, selling tickets for campus and community events, running the campus switchboard, stocking snacks, drinks, and other essentials for fellow students. You'll also get to help out with the biggest campus events, from concerts and game nights to tournaments!
WorkingHours
- Flexible shifts Monday–Sunday between 6:30 AM and Midnight.
- Provide customer service and support to students and visitors.
- Operate the campus switchboard and manage lost & found.
- Sell tickets for campus and community events.
- Stock snacks, drinks, and other essentials.
- Assist with large campus events such as concerts, game nights, and tournaments.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in an office environment.
- Background in customer service.
- Professional demeanor, sound judgment, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
