Work Arrangement: Remote work within the US
Duration: Temporary position estimated to be for approximately 11 months
Compensation: Standard base pay range $82,240.00 - $ Annual (US locations). Employees may be eligible for incentive compensation.
What you'll be doing…- Write, review, and edit dialogue and text for cinema tics, in-game scenes, game assets, UI, and other related materials.
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines including designers, engineers, artists, producers, and animators to deliver a world-class game narrative.
- Research subject matter relating to the narrative to ensure an authentic experience.
- Be a proactive self-starter that can independently execute high-level direction.
- Play builds of the game in-progress and provide concise, prioritized feedback.
- 8+ years in the games industry working in a writing or narrative design capacity, with multiple shipped titles in the AAA console / PC space.
- Screenplay or game writing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Passionate and egoless attitude that welcomes feedback and criticism, and enjoys working in a collaborative, iterative, and agile process.
- Impressive communication skills.
- Ability to quickly execute high-level direction in a fast-paced team environment.
- Solid understanding of modern single-player design with ability to clearly discuss trends.
- Passion for games with a desire to make an impact at an industry level.
- Expertise in creating high and low-level documentation using tools like Power Point, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
- Familiarity with the Call of Duty franchise and Warzone.
- The ability to implement dialogue and text for cinema tics, in-game scenes, game assets, UI and other related materials.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the FPS games space.
- Prior experience working on a AAA first-person shooter.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages.
