Netflix is seeking an IP Scouting Intern to join the Content Materials Operations & Innovation team. The internship is a full‑time, location‑flexible role that focuses on identifying, evaluating, and acquiring intellectual property (IP) assets—including books, podcasts, comics, video games, and webtoons—for adaptation into Netflix’s television and film slate.

• Discover and examine books and high‑brow property (articles, podcasts, video games, etc.) for potential adaptation.
• Research and compile reports, lists, and analyses tailored to the content crew’s strategic targets.
• Assist in operating the team's administrative tools and databases.
• Shadow the IP scouting crew in day‑to‑day operations.
• Learn Netflix’s processes and culture for evaluating and acquiring IP.
• Understand the purchase and development pipeline for various IP types across series and film projects.
• Build relationships with partner groups across Netflix.
• Study industry trends and market dynamics within the IP‑to‑movie ecosystem.

• Currently enrolled student with authorization to work in the United States; expected graduation or start date between December
  2024 and May/June
  2025.
• Passion for television, film, and popular culture; strong knowledge of the IP marketplace (books, podcasts, comics, video games, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate opinions and analysis clearly.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in an "all‑arms‑on‑deck" environment.
• Self‑motivated and proactive; capable of taking initiative and working independently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive data.
• Commitment to diverse and inclusive storytelling.
• Willingness to live locally near the internship office (relocation support may be offered).
