As a Financial Analyst at Edible Brands, you’ll play a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis across multiple brands within the Edible Brands portfolio, including new ventures. As part of a small, agile team, you’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts, helping to inform strategic decision‑making and business growth. This position sits on the Sales & Operations Finance team.
Location:
This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday – Thursday, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Analyze financial performance, including variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to senior leadership
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning efforts and evaluate business opportunities
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to improve visibility into business performance
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to address evolving business needs
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and data integrity
- Assist in month‑end and quarter‑end financial review processes by analyzing trends and variances
- Help evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, marketing programs, and cost‑saving efforts.
- Collaborate with Accounting to reconcile financial data and ensure consistency between FP&A and actual results
- Research industry trends and benchmark company performance against competitors to provide valuable market insights
- 1 – 3 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, Net Suite) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
