Collection Agency Analyst

Zurich North America is hiring an experienced Finance Operations Associate – Collections/AR/AP to join our Group Captives team at our Schaumburg, IL headquarters. The successful candidate will, under guidance, perform finance operations tasks such as invoicing, collections, cash application, accounts payable, general administration, and general ledger reconciliation to specified service levels.

• Manage relationships with our collection agencies.
• Balance data between Zurich and external agency systems.
• Collect and reconcile premiums and non‑premiums, invoice or apply cash to maximize cash flow.
• Minimize outstanding balances and delinquencies for assigned accounts.
• Provide technical guidance, work direction, and analytical support to the team.
• Handle low‑to‑moderate complexity accounts.
• Cancel policies for non‑payment in accordance with pre‑defined guidelines.
• Extend credit or negotiate and settle payment plans within limited authority.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience in Finance Operations.
• OR high school diploma/equivalent and 5+ years experience in Finance Operations.
• AND knowledge of insurance industry agreements and loss‑sensitive programs.

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

Compensation

Salary range: $58,800.00 – $96,300.00, with a contingency short‑term incentive bonus eligible at 10%.
