Pay and Job Details:
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and geography. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs described below.

Pay Range: $11.00 - $80.00/hr.

Job location:

Remote

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to communicate how remote work is impacting results.
• Grow tax expertise and provide high-quality tax support to clients.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet.
• Experience and skill with technology (MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email, and chat to inspire client confidence.
• Strong customer service skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.
• Ability to research information using tax tools and publications (e.g., IRS publications).
