Finance Development Program (Summer 2026) – Accounting Track
Zurich North America is now accepting applications for the 2026 Finance Development Program – Accounting Track, a full‑time, 2‑year entry‑level rotational program based at our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The program develops the technical and leadership skills needed to become a senior‑level financial analyst, with 4 to 6‑month rotations in core finance disciplines such as Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Accounting Policy, and more.
Trainees will gain exposure to senior leaders and serve as key accounting professionals during the career‑building experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with no prior experience in Accounting or Finance
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and no prior experience in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of accounting or finance principles
- Previous corporate internship experience
- Aptitude for automation and process improvement
- Sound knowledge of accounting or finance principles
- General ledger or accounting transactional experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
- Technology experience in one or more of the following: general ledger, financial reporting systems, treasury workstation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Location:
Schaumburg, IL (North American Headquarters).
Remote Working:
Hybrid Working Arrangement.
Schedule:
9:00 – 5:00 PM CST.
