Investment Advisor

Are you passionate about investments and do you want to deliver the best possible investment experience possible for our clients? Within our Investment Advisory & Solutions unit, you will join a team of professionals who take ownership of the investment advisory.

• Create scalable investment content across asset classes (switch and investment ideas) and serve the whole client base
• Prepare and participate in prospect client meetings and position Vontobel's value proposition service-agnostically (including both advisory and discretionary solutions)
• Continuously monitor market developments and innovate with new investment solutions
• Manage and grow a book of advisory direct clients
• Ongoing monitoring of advisory portfolios (risk budget, performance, asset allocation), providing frequent proactive investment ideas to clients.
• Contribution to the continuous development of the investment offering
• Contribution to strategic projects within the department

• A minimum of 5 years experience in client-facing advisory, with focus on direct client holistic investment advisory.
• Very good knowledge of macroeconomics, and investment strategy. Experience in portfolio management is an asset.
• Proven excellent knowledge of all the asset classes, including equities, bonds and alternatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, additional languages an important asset.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to talk in front of a broad audience.
• Highly motivated team player, with strong organization skills, strategic thinking and willingness to take ownership of several tasks.
• Flexible, proactive, open-minded attitude, charismatic person with a strong desire to deliver excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and finance tools (Bloomberg).
