C2’s client, an employee-owned industry leader in audio communication solutions for premier events, manufacturing, and global brands, is seeking a detail-minded Senior Accountant. Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Primarily onsite at their Pewaukee office, but there will be some flexibility to work from home
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 salary, plus discretionary bonus eligibility

Key Responsibilities- Own the month-end close process: maintain accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and journal entries for monthly closing and adjustments
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P), including processing customer invoices and expense transactions
- Support customers by responding to invoice inquiries, running lost equipment reports, and collaborating with sales to resolve issues
- Oversee event and rental accounting: track purchase orders, deposits, credit card compliance, post-event invoicing, and contract documentation
- Submit invoices via customer portals and ensure documentation accuracy
- Apply cash receipts across multiple business divisions
- File sales and use tax returns accurately and on time
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documents
- Prepare weekly/monthly management dashboards and KPIs for financial reporting
- Take ownership of collections process and generate related reports
- Analyze company financial information, offering insights to non-financial colleagues to support business decision making
- Lead or support continuous process improvements in accounting workflows and reporting
- Assist with year-end audit and tax preparations
- Jump in on special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the President and VP Finance
- Required:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Ability to clearly explain financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences
- High attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and drive for quality
- Strong team player, able to collaborate with both financial and non-financial teammates
- Experience with Quick Books
- Rental or logistics industry experience
- Experience presenting financial metrics to leadership
- Background in driving process improvements or optimizing accounting workflow
