Overview
Accelerate Dental is a fast-growing Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) based in Utah with over 40 offices across Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. We are committed to helping dentists achieve success by investing in and partnering with dental offices to drive growth and profitability with administrative support, best practice training, and office expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Support month-end and year-end closing processes and activities
- Manage daily and monthly reporting functions including AP, AR, financial reporting, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the financial onboarding function of bringing new dental practices onto company’s financial systems including collection of documents and practice information, reviewing practice insurance policies for consistency with company standards, importing new practice vendors, chart of account and other data sets into the company’s financial reporting system, and other transitional processes
- Assist controller as needed with monthly and quarterly documentation preparation and other administrative tasks
- Work collaboratively with departments to ensure financial data accuracy and facilitate informed decision-making
- 2-5 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate accounting team in a high‑performance organization
- At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field
- Experience implementing and managing business accounting processes and financial reporting through enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Quick Books Online and Sage Intacct
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to help support the accounting function in an ambitious, high‑growth startup environment
- Fluency and comfort with GAAP accounting and financial statement preparation
- Expert Excel skills and corporate financial modeling experience
- Willingness to learn new processes and be both player and coach in a small startup environment where everyone executes
- Expert organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with high integrity and handling of confidential information
This position is primarily remote. Our footprint is in the Utah, Idaho, Wyoming region and may require some travel within this geography and there is a slight preference for candidates within our footprint.
