Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. This position is in Dulles, VA and does not allow for remote work
.
This opening is contingent upon program award and funding as well as an active Top-Secret Clearance and/or a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access at the time of application.
Your Role and Impact:
Responsibilities- Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
- Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications for Level 3- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of stated professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of stated professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of stated professional experience in lieu of degree
- Prior experience in finance, accounting and/or program control in defense contracting industry
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top-Secret Clearance and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access at the time of application
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration;
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience - Program Cost Control experience
- Experience with FAR/DFAR;
Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, or SAP;
Counter-intelligence polygraph

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
