Tax Supervisor

The Tax Supervisor at Catalyst Family Office is a proven tax project professional, having demonstrated consistent high performance across multiple projects as an integral member of the tax practice. You will also have a critical role in teaming with others in the integration of other services that Catalyst Family Office offers to clients such as EMFR, philanthropy, estate planning, risk and insurance, and more.

The firm is known for their work on behalf of highly entrepreneurial and tech savvy wealth owners, helping them manage their sophisticated and complex wealth challenges.

• Assist in managing, developing, and coaching tax interns, associates and tax senior associates.
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, and not-for-profit clients.
• Review federal, state and local tax notices and to draft responses.
• Conduct tax research.
• Foster and exemplify collaborative working relations with all firm members.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• 5 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities.
• Active CPA license (or working towards to become one) or Enrolled Agent.
• Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate strong organization skills and attention to details.
• Good communication skills.
