• Perform moderately complex actuarial work for rate making, reserving, and modeling
• Collaborate with team members to ensure rate and reserve levels are appropriate and actuarially sound
• Conduct market research and analyze trends for potential impacts and opportunities
• Develop and maintain dynamic Excel templates and data solutions for various business lines
• Lead small to moderately sized special projects and participate in larger initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, or statistics
• Two years of actuarial experience; relevant internship experience will be considered
• Completion of VEEs and at least two actuarial exams
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and financial mathematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as SQL
• Experience in Pricing or Reserving in at least two lines of business
• Ability to effectively lead a team
• Familiarity with P&C organization structure, including claims and underwriting processes
• Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving abilities
