Financial Analyst

GHP is hiring a Financial Analyst based in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a home office-based opportunity. The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of Finance and provides support in calculating monthly financial results and analysis to maintain/optimize profitability. Also, instrumental in forecasting and budgeting process.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reporting, accounting and financial analysis

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Accounting/GAAP knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
• Knowledge of SQL and Great Plains is a plus
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
• Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment

• Verify cash payments from vendors are in accordance with contract terms and provide internal reporting on payments
• Assist in Providing financial info by client to be entered Great Plains via uploads and journal entries
• Maintain cash flow projections to provide to corporate partners
• Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations
• Assist in providing financial information to the external auditors
• Assist in the budget & reforecast process
• Maintain budget and reforecast information in the accounting system
• Evaluate profitability at the client level
• Prepare, review and distribute monthly reporting internally
• Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed

• Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must possess the sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
