• Lead the monthly close process and analytics for the Personal Lines Claims department and Legal Division
• Oversee quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning processes, partnering with leadership to build financial plans
• Conduct management reporting and complex analysis to reduce expenses and indemnity costs
• Own the staffing model for the PL Claims department and facilitate staffing discussions
• Participate in FP&A transformation initiatives to enhance insights and improve efficiency

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably within an insurance company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of claims processes and costs, particularly in relation to operational expenses and budgeting
• Ability to partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making
• Proficiency with planning and reporting software, preferably Oracle cloud-based planning and Smartview

• Experience working with insurance P&L ratios and financial statements
• Demonstrated ability to explain financial results clearly for board and C-suite reporting
• Active involvement in company culture initiatives, such as mentoring or volunteering
• Willingness to travel for team meetings and in-person discussions
• A mindset of ownership and collaboration beyond one s immediate role
