This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Fairfield, NJ, with flexibility for remote work. The Mortgage Loan Officer will focus on assisting clients with securing home purchase loans, refinances, or equity-based loans. Daily responsibilities include evaluating loan applications, providing expert advice, collaborating with underwriting teams, and ensuring a smooth loan process for clients. Building lasting relationships while delivering exceptional customer service will be key to success in this role.

• Experience in the mortgage industry, mortgage lending, and as a loan officer
• Good understanding of underwriting principles and processes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and assist clients with their mortgage needs
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to ensure compliant and efficient loan processing
• Familiarity with current mortgage regulations and industry best practices
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) or eligibility to obtain licensing
• Prior experience handling equity-based loans is a plus
