Vice President of Finance

TRCC is headquartered in the heart of Northwest Georgia, TRCC has grown from its roots as a latex supplier to the tufted carpet industry into a global leader in advanced chemical solutions, with a footprint that spans every continent.

We are currently hiring for an experienced Controller who will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company.

• Employee must pass a fitness for duty test, drug screen and submit to a TB test on a post offer employment physical.
• Oversees the daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Oversees and supervise the accounting/finance staff.
• Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
• Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the companys performance.
• Manage cash flow and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with other executives, particularly the CEO and CFO, on financial decisions.
• Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Works with external auditors/accountants and provides needed information for the annual audit or review.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Submit to a consumer background check that will include a criminal background and credit history check. Both must be clear with no issues reported.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required.
• Ten (10) years or more of related experience. required.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while using a computer and phone.
• Ability to work in a temperature controlled and noise-controlled environment.
• The job is normally performed in a quiet environment; however, there can be unexpected, sudden loud noises, beeping backup alarms, flashing lights and sudden movements.
• Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds at times by lifting, pulling or pushing.
• Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds by reaching above the shoulders.

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Work environment is on site. Remote work not offered for this position.

• Pay range will be based on verifiable experience and education level.
