What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Support commercial auto pricing, including individual account pricing and portfolio-level analyses
  • Conduct actuarially sound statistical analysis and document assumptions and methods
  • Prepare actuarial findings suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support
  • Provide analytical support to other functions on an ad hoc basis
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area and 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis
  • Or Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area and 3 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, and Radar
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, including formal presentation abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong problem-solving skills
  • Active participation in company culture and employee resource groups
