The future of finance is crypto‑native. Crossmint makes it easy to get there.
LocationWe have offices in Madrid, and we are also open to a full remote setting from Spain.
Type of EmploymentFull‑time, indefinite contract.
The RoleWe are looking for an EU AML Lead to take full ownership of Crossmint’s anti‑money laundering framework across Europe. This is a senior, high‑impact role with direct exposure to regulators, auditors, and executive leadership, reporting directly to the General Counsel.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Crossmint’s AML program as we scale across the EU under MiCA and beyond. This includes ensuring readiness for regulatory supervision, strengthening internal controls, and embedding AML best practices across products, operations, and partnerships.
The candidate will be immediately appointed AMLRO with SEPBLAC, becoming the named individual responsible for AML matters in Spain while supporting Crossmint’s broader European regulatory strategy.
Crossmint is a scale‑up. This role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on execution. You will set direction, but you will also personally review escalations, oversee complex onboardings, and ensure the program works in real‑world conditions. If you want to build and lead AML at the center of programmable finance, this is that role.
What You’ll Do Own EU AML Strategy and ExecutionDesign, implement, and maintain Crossmint’s AML framework in line with EU directives, MiCA requirements, and local regulations. Partner closely with Legal to ensure policies, procedures, and controls scale with the business.
Regulatory Engagement as AMLROAct as the primary AML point of contact for regulators, auditors, and banking partners. Appointment as AMLRO with SEPBLAC, leading regulatory filings and supervisory interactions.
