Financial Analyst Specialist, Insurance Claims & Legal - Remote

• Lead the monthly close process and analyze operating expenses for the Personal Lines Claims department and Legal Division
• Manage quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning processes, partnering with leadership to develop financial plans
• Conduct complex analysis of initiatives aimed at reducing expenses and indemnity costs
• Own the staffing model for the PL Claims department and lead discussions on staffing needs
• Support FP&A transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for deeper insights and efficiency improvements

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in an insurance company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of claims processes and their impact on financial analytics, planning, and forecasting
• Proven experience in operational expense reporting and budgeting, particularly LAE
• Ability to communicate financial results clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders

• Experience with planning and reporting software, especially Oracle cloud-based planning and Smartview
• Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as mentoring and volunteering
• Willingness to travel for team meetings and in-person events
• Ownership mindset, demonstrating a commitment to the organization's mission and values
• Strong storytelling skills to convey financial insights effectively
