The Director, Financial Planning is an integral part of the Wealth Insight Partners team. They are responsible for supporting the advisors in every aspect of the planning process from data collection and input, analysis, presentation and subsequent servicing. The career track for this position is to grow either into an advisor role or further leadership of the financial planning department, depending on skill set andfuture career ambitions.
This role is critical as it serves as the cornerstone of how our clients work with us. Planning is both the driver for our clients’ success and the growth of assets under management, currently $850M+.

- Support advisors throughout entirety of financial planning process, including plan development, analysis, and subsequent recommendations
- Present in meetings and explain rationale, ensure clients implement recommendations, and hold clients accountable to action items post plan delivery
- Model various planning options/alternatives in planning software
- Proactively hold clients accountable to goals established in financial plan
- Analyze client budget and cash flow
- Proactive analysis of clients’ planning data
- Review current investment allocations and prepare reports for the ongoing management of client accounts
- Provide regular updates on the status of the planning processto lead advisor and team
- Work closely with clients throughout process to collect data and documents
- Develop and maintain systems for managing renewals and action items in CRM
- Keep current on economic conditions and financial markets that can impact financial planning and investment decisions through news sources, research, and participation in quarterly calls
- Extensive experience with financial planning and investment management software (preferably eMoney)
- Minimum 4-year college degree, preferably in a related field
- Series 66
- Working knowledge of Wealthscape and/or Envestnet

Starting at $110,000 to $140,000/year plus bonus, commensurate with experience
