This is a full‑time role for a Mortgage Loan Officer. Based in Beaufort, SC, this hybrid position allows for a combination of in‑office and remote work. Key responsibilities include assisting clients throughout the mortgage process, counseling them on loan options, and determining eligibility based on credit and financial assessments. You will also manage loan applications, collaborate with underwriting teams, maintain client relations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
The Mortgage Loan Officer will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and guidance to help clients achieve their home ownership goals.
- Experience working as a Loan Officer with a strong understanding of the Mortgage Industry
- Proficiency in Mortgage Lending and Underwriting best practices
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle client relationships professionally
- Proven ability to analyze financial documents and assess creditworthiness
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations is a plus
- Valid NMLS license and experience in mortgage loan origination
