Job Description

You’ll work directly with a leading loan officer team, gaining hands‑on experience, mentorship, and access to real mortgage leads. Whether you’re working remotely or in‑office, you’ll be part of a collaborative, growth‑focused environment. We have unique ways of addressing problems in the marketplace with our custom solutions that will help you create professional relationships with referral sources.

If you are an existing, professional mortgage loan officer and struggle with bringing value to local real estate agents, builders and other financial service providers, we have strategies and mentorship for you. Or perhaps your business needs a new environment to thrive. Our compensation is better than the banks/credit unions and we offer more mentorship, guidance, and strategy than a broker shop.

SWBC Mortgage Corporation has a marketing and compliance team at the ready to help you create the materials you need to stand out in our marketplace. We have a weekly 30‑minute call with our sales leader and regular guest speakers that will give you ideas and confidence to be your best. The mentorship and guidance you will receive from our team leader is unparalleled and proven to help fellow loan officers succeed.

Qualifications

Availability:
Immediate, obtaining NMLS license required before start, contact for details.

Basic Standards:

  • Interest in the field of business management/marketing/sales/finance
  • Finance and/or client relationship background preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work with cloud based technologies, web platforms and MS Office products, outgoing personality; ability to communicate with clients via phone and in person
  • Ability to pass background and compliance testing, as well as licensing testing
  • Basic mathematical skills required, advanced mathematical abilities helpful

All employees need to reside in Minnesota for this position.
