To succeed as the Finance & Accounting Manager, you should have:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of progressive accounting and office‑based experience.
- Solid proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software required, SAP Business One preferred.
- Proven ability to manage detailed financial data, perform accurate record‑keeping, and deliver insightful analysis.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.
- Portuguese language skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities are considered valuable.
- Group Financial Leadership:
Oversee end‑to‑end accounting and finance for all ISCA group entities, including monthly and annual financial statements, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, audits, and statutory compliance. - Cash Flow, AR/AP & Banking:
Manage cash flow, payables, receivables, credit controls, weekly payment runs, and act as the primary liaison with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and forex partners. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, 5‑year plans, capital expenditure tracking, and ongoing budget‑vs‑actual analysis to support decision‑making. - Governance, Assets & Risk:
Maintain fixed asset registers, capitalization policies, insurance portfolios, records retention, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. - Executive & Operational Support:
Partner with the CEO, COO, and leadership team on financial strategy, ad‑hoc analysis, cross‑training, and special projects as directed by senior management or the Board.
