Tax Manager
Liberty Personnel is partnering with one of our National clients to help build out their Tax team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for working directly with high profile clientele with both direct and indirect tax needs. This would include provision work, tax planning, compliance, transactional work, both non-income and income tax, tax allocations, as well as ad hoc projects across federal, state, and local income tax returns.
KeyQualifications:
- Bachelors degree is required
- Masters degree or MBA is a plus
- CPA or other certifications are highly desired.
- Prior Public accounting tax experience is key. BIG4 experience is a plus
- Experience in accounting for income taxes, including both quarterly and annual provisions.
- Experience with the preparation of non-income tax filings and managing related audits.
- Capable of analyzing and addressing tax authority notices confidently, including negotiating resolutions.
- Experience liaising with external advisors and outsourcing firms to manage information requests and reviews.
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary, annual bonus upwards of 30%, as well as a GREAT medical, dental, vision, wellness, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Working Situation:This will be a hybrid working situation with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
