About the Role
As the Financial Analyst, you are a strategic business partner and analytical problem‑solver

This role is for candidates who reside within 60 miles of our 9th Street SE office in Minneapolis, MN
What You’ll Do- Act as a liaison between Finance and cross‑functional departments to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Analyze and interpret sales and accounting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and update recurring Excel‑based financial reports, including expense reports, sales reports, and budget vs. actuals.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results.
- Prepare regular financial and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance financial models, tools, and processes to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support monthly financial reviews, including product profitability analysis.
- Create scenarios and models for pricing, margin, and profitability assessments.
- Identify cost saving opportunities and partner with management to evaluate potential actions.
- Monitor performance against forecast and communicate significant variances to appropriate stakeholders.
- Generate recurring and ad‑hoc reports using consistent, repeatable methodologies.
- Support special projects, ad‑hoc analyses, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

- 1–3 years of experience working with large volumes of financial or business data.
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting Excel‑based reporting issues, validating data accuracy, resolving formula or pivot table errors, and ensuring smooth integration of data from multiple sources.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to ERP systems and BI tools preferred, with the ability and willingness to learn new platforms quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proactive nature, self‑driven and relentless. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move,” you just move. A self‑starter who can drive projects and execute results with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and underlying issues.
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate conclusions and recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize workload based on team and organizational needs.
- Action oriented with a track record of delivering results in dynamic or evolving environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Travel Requirement: less than 5%
