Risk Manager/Analyst
Reports To: SVP, Risk Collections Strategy Analysis

JOB SUMMARYResponsible for leading portfolio analytics, portfolio performance monitoring, and enterprise loss forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Analyzes portfolio performance, credit trends, and portfolio health to inform senior leadership and capital markets activities, including performance reporting and due diligence. Provides advanced analytics, forecasts, dashboards, and executive-level insights related to loan performance, collections, and portfolio strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Own short-term and long-term loss forecasting for collections and the broader loan portfolio, including delinquency forecasts, expected loss projections, and roll-rate models.
- Analyze variances and drivers of loss performance, providing explanations and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Build and update vintage-level performance forecasts, expected lifetime loss curves, and stress-scenario modeling.
- Support capital markets activities including performance reporting/analysis for credit facilities, warehouse lines, forward flow partners, and securitization structures.
- Lead data preparation, analytics, and presentations for lender audits, investor due diligence, and periodic covenant reporting.
- Collaborate with and provide analytical support to Finance, Treasury, and Capital Markets teams related to collateral reporting, deal triggers, eligibility tests, and risk disclosures.
- Provide analysis and insight to external financing partners (banks, audit firms, investors) related to loan performance, loss expectations, and portfolio strategy.
- Develop internal presentations for Executive Leadership summarizing portfolio trends, loss expectations, and credit insights.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to implement automation and data-driven technology solutions.
- Leverage MySQL, Tableau, and other BI tools to deliver fast, accurate, data-driven insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, etc.), preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in consumer lending, analytics, credit risk, or portfolio risk management.
- 5+ years of experience in loss forecasting
- Expertise working with large, complex datasets and transforming them into actionable insights.

WORKENVIRONMENT
While performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting. This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
