Senior Director of Accounting & Finance

Our client is an apparel and fashion manufacturer. They seek a Senior Director of Accounting and Finance to join their Manhattan, NY office.

• Oversee all accounting and finance functions, including monthly close and daily transactional activity impacting financial results
• Manage revenue reporting, monthly financial statements, and internal management reporting
• Lead financial, bank, and licensing audits and serve as the primary point of coordination
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, including fund collections and disbursements
• Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risk
• Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, controls, and procedures
• Prepare, review, and file required tax documents and regulatory filings
• Produce financial reports to support executive decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and workflows
• Develop a deep understanding of the business’s financing dynamics and operating model
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to manage inventory exposure, cost controls, and customer dilution initiatives

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Consumer products, manufacturing, wholesale, or fashion industry experience
• Public, combo, or private experience
• Importer experience and inventory experience preferred
• Strong operational exposure and knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• CPA preferred
