Cash Application Analyst

Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Cash Application Analyst to join their team. As a Cash Application Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cash Application Analyst

Location: Remote, candidates must be local to Louisville, KY, to attend occasional on-site team meetings.

• Monitor bank lockbox activity and partner with franchisees to ensure complete and accurate sales reporting is loaded into KRise with subsequent payment application being successfully completed in JD Edwards.
• Respond to brand and franchisee emails, performing research and resolution to such queries, and assist with creating invoices, credit memos, and processing royalty rate changes.
• Prepare daily bank deposit and tracking logs, download banking activity, and reconcile with JD Edwards, including processing returned payments and manual deposits.
• Research unapplied cash deposits, collaborate with franchisees and U.S. Control to understand payments, and prepare period-end cash application reports.
• Support external/internal audit requests, SOX peer reviews, and special projects, identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

• Experience with bank reconciliation and cash application processes.
• Proficiency in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
