Overview
Employer Industry: Non-Profit Technology Foundation
What to Expect- Manage the annual budgeting process and develop financial models to support strategic planning
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and the Board
- Analyze financial performance and create dashboards to convey complex financial information
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization’s financial planning and analysis platform
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to colleagues across the organization, supporting strategic planning and grant proposal development
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 4 years in nonprofit or grantmaking environments
- Proven experience managing complex budgets of approximately $30 million or more
- Expert-level proficiency with FP&A platforms, particularly Workday Adaptive Planning or similar tools
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and experience with nonprofit accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or Net Suite
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Background in supporting both grantmaking and grantseeking organizations
- Skills in process improvement or systems optimization within finance functions
- Experience collaborating closely with fundraising, program, or investment teams
