DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
As a Fiscal Management Specialist 1, you will be tasked with processing routine revenue transmittals and non‑lock box checks for deposits, including the posting of revenue data to appropriate general ledger accounts in SAP. You will be responsible for maintaining an Excel check log, identifying payment errors, preparing weekly reports, and processing and reconciling monthly Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs). You will also assist the agency’s out‑service training coordinator by reviewing and recommending approval for out‑service training and out‑of‑state travel requests.
Work also involves:
- Maintaining a reconciliation process between Sircon and SAP accounts receivable
- Assisting in maintaining the dunning process, including routine external customer email notifications and retrieval of original invoices
- Preparing monthly customer refunds and vendor payments
- Reconciling third‑party reimbursements
- Providing coding guidance for PID purchase requests

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full‑time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part‑time, up to 2 days per week. Telework requires a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you cannot telework, you may report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Financial Programs Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in paraprofessional fiscal administration work, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
