This is a full-time hybrid role for a Vice President and/or Self Storage Specialist based in St. Louis, MO or anywhere nationally. Some work-from-home flexibility is available. The role involves the valuation of commercial and/or self-storage assets, managing and delivering detailed market and financial reports, and working directly with clients to understand their unique needs. Responsibilities also include providing insights into market trends, driving business development efforts for self-storage services, and ensuring high-quality and accurate appraisal outcomes for clients.
Qualifications- Proficiency in valuation and appraisal principles, financial analysis, and market research methodologies
- Strong understanding of self-storage, commercial real estate, and specialized property types including retail, industrial, and life sciences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate findings and insights
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a hybrid work environment
- Strategic thinking and business development capabilities to foster client relationships and build service offerings
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field; certifications in real estate appraisal or relevant areas (e.g., MAI designation) preferred
- Proficient in relevant software and tools used in valuation and appraisal
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional ethics and high-quality work
