We are seeking aWealth Planning Specialist to serve as the planning execution engine for our team. This person translates complex planning strategies into clean deliverables and supports the day-to-day investment operations that keep client accounts running smoothly. This is a high-impact execution role with growing responsibility as trust is earned.

Duties
  • Planning Execution:Build and maintain client financial plans while curating meeting prep, presentations, and summaries .
  • Scenario Modeling:Run repeatable analyses for retirement timing, cash flow, tax strategy, and benefit elections.
  • Investment Operations:Support daily trading operations, cash management, ACATs, contributions, distributions, and RMDs alongside the firm's core Operations Team.
  • Systems and Process:Improve checklists and SOPs to ensure all work is repeatable and any teammate can pick up the baton.
  • CRM and Documentation:Maintain high-quality notes and tracking in Wealthbox CRM to ensure zero loose ends.

  • Client meeting preparation is consistently accurate and finished on time.
  • Financial plan deliverables are professional and ready for client presentation.
  • Investment operations run with low error rates and proactive follow-through.
  • Clients experience a seamless planning journey where their goals are understood and technical steps are clearly explained.
  • Post meeting communication is proactive and ensures every client feels their financial roadmap is moving forward.

This position is based in Irvine, CA, and requires a consistent in-office presence. Eligibility for a hybrid schedule and work-from-home days may be considered after initial training and approval.

Requirements
  • Certification:CFP® strongly preferred. Series 65/66 or 7/66 is required.
  • Experience:5+ years in paraplanning or investment operations at an RIA or hybrid RIA.
  • Technical Knowledge:Working knowledge of financial services, including investment types, advisory accounts, and financial planning concepts.
  • Teamwork:Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting while independently managing assigned responsibilities.
  • Communication:Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with clients and coworkers.
  • Software:Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), planning software (such as eMoney, Money Guide, or similar), Wealthbox CRM (or similar), and custodial portals (Schwab & LPL Financial are a plus).
  • Ethics:High level of ethics, discretion, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Compliance:Must pass a background check prior to hire.
  • Traits:Ownership mentality, reliability, and a calm approach under pressure .
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary Range:$75,000 to $100,000 per year.
  • Bonus:Annual performance based bonus potential tied to execution quality and firm goals.
