This is a full-time role for a Loan Officer with a hybrid work arrangement. The position is based in the Rochester, New York Metropolitan Area, with opportunities for partial remote work flexibility. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients throughout the loan process, including loan origination, reviewing financial documents, collaborating with underwriters, assessing creditworthiness, and delivering exceptional customer service.
You will ensure clients receive tailored mortgage solutions to meet their needs.
- Knowledge and experience in loan origination and working as a Loan Officer
- Understanding of finance principles and proficiency in underwriting processes
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and effectively address client needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely manner
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with mortgage-specific software tools is a plus
- Ability to stay informed about industry regulations and market trends
