Location: New York
Our client is a technology company. They seek an Equity Compensation Principal to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities- Administer daily operations of the company’s equity compensation programs (stock options, RSUs, ESPP, and other awards) using the Morgan Stanley/E
* TRADE platform - Coordinate and process all equity transactions, including grants, exercises, releases, and terminations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding equity awards, tax treatment, and use of the Morgan Stanley/E
* TRADE portal - Maintain compliance with global regulatory requirements, tax rules, and company policies by partnering with Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting teams to reconcile data and reporting
- Assist the Finance team with quarterly stock-based compensation reporting and other equity-related reporting as needed
- Liaise with Morgan Stanley/E
* TRADE to resolve system issues, implement upgrades, and coordinate ongoing plan enhancements - Facilitate internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and process overviews
- Reconcile and maintain accurate participant data across HRIS, payroll, and the Morgan Stanley/E
* TRADE system
- 5-10 years of experience with equity compensation plans and/or stock plan compensation
- Experience with Morgan Stanley/E
* TRADE equity platform is preferred - Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Strong Excel skills
- CEP designation or progress towards it is a plus
