Position: Equity Compensation Principal
Location: New York

Our client is a technology company. They seek an Equity Compensation Principal to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities
  • Administer daily operations of the company’s equity compensation programs (stock options, RSUs, ESPP, and other awards) using the Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE platform
  • Coordinate and process all equity transactions, including grants, exercises, releases, and terminations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding equity awards, tax treatment, and use of the Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE portal
  • Maintain compliance with global regulatory requirements, tax rules, and company policies by partnering with Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting teams to reconcile data and reporting
  • Assist the Finance team with quarterly stock-based compensation reporting and other equity-related reporting as needed
  • Liaise with Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE to resolve system issues, implement upgrades, and coordinate ongoing plan enhancements
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and process overviews
  • Reconcile and maintain accurate participant data across HRIS, payroll, and the Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE system
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience with equity compensation plans and/or stock plan compensation
  • Experience with Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE equity platform is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Strong Excel skills
  • CEP designation or progress towards it is a plus
