Local Bank is seeking dynamic Southeast Mortgage Sales Managers and Originators to join our team. This is a full‑time hybrid role based in but not limited to the NC/SC Area, with opportunities for remote work. Responsibilities include generating mortgage loans, building relationships with clients and partners, advising customers on lending options, and managing the end‑to‑end loan application process. You will oversee loan origination strategies while collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless and customer‑focused service.
Success in this role requires maintaining and expanding a network of referral partners within the mortgage and real‑estate industries, executing on sales goals, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. - Strong expertise in Mortgage Lending and the Mortgage Industry, including familiarity with various loan products and services
- Knowledge of Finance principles and Mortgage Marketing strategies to attract and retain borrowers
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to build trust and foster client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, including real estate agents and brokers
- Self‑driven with excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience in mortgage sales may be considered
- Experience with community banking or a customer‑focused organization is highly desirable
- Familiarity with compliance regulations in mortgage lending is a plus
