Investment Analyst Base Pay Range

$85,500.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

The Treasury department manages cash and investments, maintaining sufficient liquidity, maximizing earnings, and efficiently processing daily transactions.

The Investment Analyst assists with managing a diversified portfolio across public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, real assets, and private credit. The analyst compiles data, prepares reports, and conducts due diligence on existing and prospective funds.

• Research, analyze, and evaluate investment opportunities in various asset classes leading to preparation of investment recommendations.
• Assist in due diligence by coordinating manager meetings, preparing relevant reports in advance of investment manager meetings, attending annual meetings or onsite meetings, and documenting meeting notes.
• Conduct quantitative performance/risk analysis on portfolio and investments.
• Conduct research on trending topics by gathering and summarizing data, writing whitepapers.
• Prepare investment materials for Investment Committee members, Board members, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between the investment team and external consultants in order to prepare monthly and quarterly data feeds needed by our consultants.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of management and stakeholders.

• CFA or CFE candidate

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.
