Overview
WHO are we looking for?
The Investment Analyst will play a critical role in a hybrid research capacity, with a shared focus on private market investment solutions within the retirement and defined contribution space and on traditional fixed income strategies. The candidate will be responsible for researching, sourcing, analyzing, recommending, and monitoring investment solutions across both areas, with a strong understanding of industry trends in private equity, private credit, and fixed income markets.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
- Source, analyze, recommend, and monitor private market investment solutions for use within retirement and defined contribution plans, with an emphasis on private equity, private credit, and other alternative strategies, while also supporting the evaluation of traditional fixed income managers and strategies.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive investment due diligence reports across both private markets and fixed income, incorporating qualitative assessments, quantitative analysis, and retirement-plan suitability considerations.
- Identify and implement process improvements related to investment research, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring across both alternative and fixed income strategies.
- Build and maintain a professional network that is beneficial to clients, ensuring unique access and distinctive value-add.
- Aid in the creation and distribution of client-facing materials related to approved fund options and developments within the retirement ecosystem.
- Encourage and assist advisors in the ongoing application of investment strategies and research for the betterment of their clients and their portfolios.
- Support the firm’s business development efforts by providing investment subject matter expertise and contributing to prospective client conversations and pitches.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a four-year college degree or combination of relevant work experience
- 6+ years’ experience in financial services investment management

- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of creating engaging collateral and effectively presenting complex investment concepts to a diverse audience.
- A proactive approach to participant engagement, with the ability to manage relationships both within the firm and with external partners.
