A leading global asset manager is seeking an Institutional Client Operations Analyst to support institutional investors across the Asia-Pacific region. This role sits within the firm’s institutional group and partners closely with client-facing relationship managers to support complex portfolios, operational workflows, and reporting for large institutional accounts.
This is a specialized operations and analytics role focused on institutional client support—no sales responsibilities and no expectation to manage portfolios directly. The position offers exposure to global markets and institutional investing while maintaining strong work–life balance.
What You’ll Do- Manage onboarding for new institutional accounts, including segregated mandates and fund structures
- Support relationship managers with client reporting, portfolio data requests, and operational inquiries
- Analyze portfolio allocations, performance metrics, and institutional account data
- Coordinate with custodians and internal teams to resolve operational issues
- Document workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational processes
- Support institutional clients across the Asia-Pacific region including Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Korea
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4–5+ years of experience in financial services
- Familiarity with securities, financial markets, and institutional account structures
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Experience managing projects or operational processes
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- First-year expected total compensation: $80,000 – $100,000+ with a defined bonus structure
