A company is looking for a Temporary Product Counsel for a top Fin Tech company, remote position.
Key Responsibilities Provide legal review and analysis on account restrictions, closures, and consumer protection issues, focusing on KYC/KYB/CIP requirements Guide product and customer support teams on consumer protection issues, including disputes and identity theft Draft and review policies and customer communications related to consumer protection and disputes
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience dealing with consumer protection issues Expertise in financial services consumer protection laws (KYC/CIP, Regulation Z, Regulation E, UDAAP, UDAP) Excellent drafting skills A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in at least one state bar Beneficial experience in fraud and payments issues
