Financial Analyst Specialist, Insurance Claims & Legal - Remote

Employer Industry: Insurance

• Lead monthly close process and analytics for PL Claims department and Legal Division
• Manage quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning processes in collaboration with leadership
• Conduct complex analysis of initiatives aimed at reducing expenses and improving outcomes
• Own the PL Claims staffing model and facilitate staffing discussions with leadership
• Participate in FP&A transformation initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and insights

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in an insurance company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of claims processes and operational expenses
• Ability to partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making
• Proficiency in planning and reporting software, preferably Oracle cloud-based planning and Smartview

• Experience in mentoring employees and participating in cross-functional projects
• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial results effectively to C-suite and board of directors
• Willingness to travel for team meetings and other in-person engagements
