Payroll Tax Reconciliation Specialist

• Research and resolve customer tax discrepancies in a timely manner
• Perform various mathematical calculations to determine optimal solutions
• Analyze tax and payroll data on both employer and employee levels
• Ensure compliance with tax authority requirements through appropriate actions
• Communicate with customers and document the causes of tax discrepancies

• 2-3 years of related payroll and/or tax experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax rules and requirements
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Associate's degree or higher preferred (or 3 years of equivalent experience)
• Experience in payroll outsourcing and/or shared services
