- Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process across a multi entity structure
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support consolidation of numerous operating subsidiaries, including intercompany activity and eliminations
- Assist with preparation of internal financial reporting packages for senior leadership
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity and explain material variances
- Partner with cross functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Calculate and record recurring tax accruals, including real estate and personal property taxes across a large national footprint
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Support internal and external audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Utilize ERP and reporting tools to streamline reporting and enhance financial visibility
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within mid to large size organizations, combination of public accounting and industry experience also welcome
- Experience working in SAP or SAP S4 Hana preferred
- Strong Excel skills with ability to analyze and reconcile large data sets
- Solid understanding of GAAP and experience supporting multi entity reporting
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
