About the Role

As an Accountant, you’ll be responsible for advanced financial analysis, banking activities, accounting transactions and operations, and reporting to support the organization’s financial health. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy in financial data, optimizing processes, and providing insights for informed decision‑making. While this position does not have supervisory duties, it requires a high degree of expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and compliance within a nonprofit setting.

Proficiency with Quick Books Online (or similar accounting software) and Paylocity (or comparable payroll systems) is essential. This role also supports external financial audits and payroll‑related reporting.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of key processes, approach challenges with a solutions‑oriented mindset, and contribute as part of a collaborative and supportive team. A typical day might include reviewing banking activity, analyzing and reconciling financial reports, and assisting with payroll and revenue cycles. If you're excited to join a growing organization and make a meaningful impact, this could be the opportunity for you!
