Assistant Controller

Overview
The Assistant Controller oversees financial accounting and reporting and leads a team of accounting professionals. This role ensures accurate, timely financial information and partners across the organization to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

• Manage daily accounting operations, including monthly close, financial statements, variance analysis, cash forecasting, AR/AP, sales commissions, reconciliations, and consolidations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact in the Controller’s absence.
• Provide accurate financial insights and reporting for Executive Leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Support annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues and strengthen accounting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
  Master’s preferred.
• CPA or CMA required.
• 7+ years of GAAP accounting experience, including team leadership.
• Experience with Sage Intacct required (or similar ERP super‑user).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to design and implement internal controls.
